There are many ways you can help improve the communities of East St. Louis and Brooklyn by utilizing various tools of giving. 

Charitable tools are great giving options that you can use to impact those passions you care about the most.

Establish a Donor Advised Fund: By establishing a Donor Advised Fund you make a tax-deductible contribution to the Greater East St. Louis Community Fund and we in turn, will help you identify ways to help support nonprofit organizations that are helping residents of East St. Louis and Brooklyn.

Donate Unrestricted Funds:  You can give a charitable gift that will be used to respond to emerging community needs and priorities of the Greater East St. Louis Community Fund.  Our Board and Staff are experts on community needs and know the 501 (c )(3) charities that address community wide needs and most pressing problems with quality programs and services.

Establish a Field of Interest Funds:  You can target your gift to address needs in an important area of community life - Children, Youth, and Recreation.  You identify your personal area when making your gift and our Board awards grants to community organizations and programs that are making a difference in the area you select.

Scholarships: You can invest your gift in our Scholarship Program and  thereby have a direct impact of helping successful high school graduates attend institution of higher education.  Since 1994, the Greater East St. Louis Community Fund has awarded over 500 scholarships to East St. Louis and Brooklyn residents who have studied throughout the country and in many different disciplines.  You can also establish a designated gift in a specific discipline, such as medicine or education.  Our Board and Staff  are experts administrators of the scholarship program and have witnessed the difference it has made in the lives of many current and former residents of East St. Louis and Brooklyn.
